Sinae Lee
Sinae Lee's work will be exhibited in the Ceres Gallery, New York, from December 22-29. The opening reception for her exhibition, Exposure, is scheduled for Saturday, December 26 from 3-5pm.
Ryan Longenecker
Student Ryan Longenecker has been selected to receive the NAMM (National Associate of Music Merchants) President's Innovation Award. This award will assist with his travel and accomodation at the 2010 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Longenecker also earned a travel grant from SPARs to attend the AES conference in New York.
Erick Thompson
Student Erick Thompson placed 3rd in the AES Student Recording Competition (Surround Non Classical category). A total of 110 students entered the competition held at the New York AES (Aurdio Engineering Society) Conference or October 11. Erick is a recipient of the Master of Science in Recording Arts degree from UC Denver, and earned the ARCS Foundation Scholarship ((Ashievement Rewards for College Scientists) in memory of Roy Pritts in 2008.
Gann Matthews
Alumni and singer songwriter Gann Matthews now living in New York, was back in Denver touring with his friend Michael Campbell The duo kicking off its newest tour schedule and will travel to Los Angeles, then hitting coast cities, and will end when the tour reaches Seattle.
Brian Delevie
Associate Professor and digital artist, Brian Delevie's exhibition on December 4 at the ARC gallery in Denver. UCD 6
The UCD 6 attended and competed in an A Cappella clinic and competition in late October 2009 hosted by Mile High Vocal Jam, and won the Runner-Up prize. They placed over several collegiate a cappella groups, including ones from CU Boulder, DU and the Air Force Academy. There were 5 large high school groups also competing, and all were just buzzing over the UCD 6; they even asked them for autographs!

THEATRE STUDENT FELICIA MARTI HAS BEEN ACCEPTED TO THE KCACTF REGION 7's SSCD Student Directing Showcase!
Theatre, Film and Video Department is an active participant in the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). In the past four years, the department's productions have been awarded over 15 Awards of Merit in the areas of acting, directing, design, production, and playwriting. The productions of The Shape of Things, and The Glass Menagerie received Special Merit awards and the production of Antigone, directed by Professor Laura Cuetara. Antigone cast and crew were invited to and participated in 2005's regional competition in Ashland, Oregon.
