Underground Music Archive: Created by U.C. Santa Cruz students
Robert Lord and Jeff Patterson, this archive applies the principles of
free software to music distribution and goes beyond what’s commercially
viable by promoting obscure bands. Sound files included.

Music Site." A comprehensive club guide, concert announcements, record
store information, monthly club calendars, and additional resources.
News, features, live music guides, reviews, resources, plus concert and
tour information.
Latino
Web: "A Latino Virtual Community, including categories
of Cultural | Entertainment | Organizations | Pop, Hip-Hop and Rock | and
Resources." Most interesting is Cuban Music Samples - Current Cuban
music samples from various Cuban radio stations, not heard in the U.S.
due to the embargo, with Links to Cuban related information and Latinos
R' Us - Salsa Caliente - Latin Music from various types of artists.

MTV
Latin America: "MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International
Inc., created a customized 24 hour MTV for Spanish speaking viewers in
Latin America and the United States. It is an advertiser supported
network, targeting viewers aged 12-34. Launched in 1993 with 2 million
subscribers MTV Latin America now reaches more than 6 million homes in
23 territories throughout Latin America plus another 600,000 homes in the
U.S."
