The History of the Universe in 200 Words or Less:  (Eric Schulman) "appeared in the January/February 1997 issue of the Annals of Improbable Research. Since then, it has been translated into more than thirty languages, and researchers all over the world are working on further translations. Several papers, presentations, and books have been directly or indirectly based on the history, including A Briefer History of Time. It has received some media attention, and has been used in several college and secondary school classes. In an attempt to conserve precious bandwidth, mirror sites for the history have been established around the globe." Eric has recently decided to commemorate the fifth anniversary of its publication by updating it and putting it on the web at http://members.verizon.net/~vze3fs8i/bhtes/. He's released it under a Creative Commons license.
