Indulge your senses with jazz performed by some of Denver’s best jazz musicians. This year, UC Denver’s own Drew Morell has brought together some of his favorite musicians to perform original compositions as well as selections from the bebop era through contemporary jazz. Morell and company showcase the individual personalities and the distictive sounds of each performer.
The Octet, featuring Morell on guitar, will also include cornet, trombone, two woodwinds, piano, bass and drums. The talented musicians Morell has assembled for the evening provide him with a unique opportunity to fully explore his true passion – composing, arranging and performing jazz.
