Bonded Sand Workshop
Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd and 4th, 2009
Workshop fee, $25 per day plus materials cost
Learn to make bonded sand molds of your sculptures or objects
Cost of Iron and Mold charged by weight
$3 per 10lbs bonded sand
Iron $1.00 per pound

“Acts of Iron” Exhibition
Opening Friday October 9th, 6pm till Late
Bring and install previously cast iron artwork at the Eldorado Spring Art Center
Work must be iron related. Mixed media encouraged. $5 entry fee per piece
Work must be delivered by Friday morning.
Gallery open Friday evening, Sat and Sun 10am -4pm
Artist, title, date and price required. Artwork must be collected Sun Oct 11th between 4-7 pm or Mon Oct 12th 8-12
Iron Casting Performance

9:00am – 3pm
All molds completed during the workshop will be cast. Sand tiles available for carving on location. Proceeds from tile sales benefit the UCD Iron Casting Club. Bring your leathers and assist the pour. Clean up and pick up work on Sunday, 11th. Cast iron pieces to be picked up after cleanup on Sunday.
