Jeff Schu is currently a senior character animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks. Schu’s film credits include Final Fantasy, The Polar Express, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Monster House, Surf’s Up, Beowulf, I am Legend, Eagle Eye, Speed Racer, and the upcoming family adventure film, G-FORCE. In his lead animator role for G-FORCE, he is responsible for a team of 10 animators who are creating performances for 438 dancing cockroaches and 200 menacing home appliances, not to mention adventurous, acrobatic and smooth dancing guinea pigs. Schu will talk about his experiences as a lead animator at Sony during his residency.
