Janetta Turner, instructor and costume designer Theatre/film/Video
A
native of Colorado, Janetta Turner attended Loretto Heights College and went
on to New York University/Tisch School of the Arts where she received
her MFA. Working both in New York and at various regional theatres including
the Arena Stage D.C., the Oselo State Theatre, and Philadelphia Street
Theatre, she received time-honored experience in wig and make-up design,
as well as an extensive background in costuming.

Costume Designer and Instructor at University of Colorado Denver. Her credits include The Complete History of America, The Cradle Will Rock, Doctor’s Stories, Measure for Measure, Rhinoceros, Points of View, The Bear, The Marriage Proposal, The Effects of Tobacco, Antigone, The Sun That You Are, Valparaiso, Front Doors, Mayakovsky Takes The Stage, The Shape of Things, The Learned Ladies and The Glass Menagerie. She also was costumer for Colorado Film School's experimental feature-length film, In Here, and for CFS's episodic T.V. show, Racking the Focus. Janetta's most recent credits include make-up and costume designs for UCD Theatre, Film, and Video Department's production, The Comedy of Errors.
