National Center for Media Forensics
Media forensics is the investigative application of scientific methods aiding the criminal and civil justice systems with regards to audio, video, and computer evidence. The National Center for Media Forensics (NCMF) is a center of the University of Colorado Denver dedicated to fostering cutting edge innovation in media forensics with the development of new knowledge, applications, methodologies, and services through research and education.
The Center is sponsored and supported by the by the University of Colorado Denver, UC Denver's College of Arts & Media, UC Denver Music & Entertainment Industry Studies Department as well as federal and private assistance.
