MissionThe UCD Sculpture Program is dedicated to the development of individual artistic responsibility and personal vision to facilitate students’ creation of a strong body of work that is investigative, experimental and based on traditional and contemporary media. The work reflects contemporary means and methods while remains informed by in depth knowledge of art history and current theory. Students emerge from the sculpture program ready to create and engage in the role of contemporary sculpture in the art world and the wider context of our global society.
